Located at Danyasa Eco Sanctuary
Nestled between lush rainforest and the Pacific Ocean in the heart of Dominical, Costa Rica, Danyasa Eco Retreat offers a uniquely inspiring setting for deep transformation and rejuvenation. Purpose-built for yoga and conscious living, Danyasa combines eco-friendly design with modern comfort—featuring beautifully repurposed shipping container rooms, a world-renowned open-air bamboo yoga studio, and easy access to waterfalls, beaches, and jungle adventures.
With a strong commitment to sustainability, community, and the healing arts, Danyasa provides the ideal environment for inward reflection, embodied movement, and meaningful connection. Whether practicing in the jungle-fringed studio, lounging by the pool, or sharing organic meals, guests are fully supported in returning to their natural rhythm and reconnecting with what matters most.

Activities and Adventures
At Danyasa, the retreat experience goes far beyond the yoga mat. Each day offers opportunities to explore a rich blend of healing, adventure, and connection. Guests are invited to participate in sacred cacao ceremonies and deeply restorative sound healing sessions—powerful practices that support emotional release, energetic balance, and heart-centered connection.
For those seeking adventure and nature immersion, Danyasa’s prime location just steps from the Pacific makes it easy to enjoy surfing lessons and stand-up paddleboarding (SUP), perfect for all levels. Guided excursions to nearby waterfalls and secluded beaches allow participants to fully experience the lush beauty of Costa Rica’s rainforest and coastline.
To further support rest and renewal, guests can indulge in a variety of therapeutic treatments, including massage, craniosacral therapy, and Reiki, offered by skilled local practitioners. On-site amenities include a tranquil swimming pool, open-air lounge spaces, a shared kitchen, and the renowned bamboo yoga studio—nestled in the jungle and designed to inspire deep practice.

Nourishment at Danyasa
At Danyasa, food is an essential part of the retreat journey—nourishing not just the body, but the spirit and senses. Each day, guests enjoy three vibrant, farm-to-table meals crafted by our in-house chef, using fresh, organic ingredients sourced from local, sustainable farms.
The menu is designed to support an active yoga practice and holistic well-being, with a focus on clean, plant-based nutrition. Meals are predominantly vegetarian, with options for locally caught fish or free-range chicken, and always accommodating vegan and gluten-free preferences.

Accommodations
Danyasa offers a range of eco-conscious rooms designed to provide a restful and nurturing stay. Each room is crafted from upcycled shipping containers and surrounded by lush tropical gardens, blending sustainability with comfort and style.
Guests can choose from private or shared rooms, all thoughtfully outfitted with comfortable beds, air conditioning, high-quality linens, and tasteful decor. Private rooms include en-suite or semi-private bathrooms, while shared rooms offer a more communal experience with shared bath facilities—ideal for solo travelers or friends attending together.

A bamboo practice studio in the jungle
The Bamboo Yoga Studio at Danyasa is a space where the practice of yoga comes alive. Open to the surrounding jungle and built entirely from sustainable bamboo, the studio offers a sacred, grounded environment that invites breath, movement, and stillness to flow with ease.
Here, yoga unfolds in harmony with nature—the rhythm of the rainforest, the warmth of the tropical air, and the soft sounds of the nearby river all become part of the experience. Whether you're moving through a strong vinyasa, resting in yin, or sitting in meditation, the space holds and enhances your practice, allowing you to go deeper, listen inward, and reconnect with your essence.

Trained in Bikram, Ashtanga (Series 1 & 2), Hatha, and Vinyasa traditions, as well as YogaSix formats (Power, Slow Flow, Sculpt, Restore), Goku's classes are accessible, powerful, and rooted in authentic lineage.
Goku incorporates Acro Yoga, Shaolin Kung Fu, Tai Chi, Qigong, and Calisthenics into his personal and teaching practice to build both strength and resilience. He draws from classical yogic texts and martial arts philosophies to create transformative spaces for students of all ages and backgrounds.
Noah is a yoga teacher, movement professional, and lifelong athlete with a deep love for creating transformational experiences through mindful movement. His teaching blends vinyasa, yin, restorative, power, nidra, and perinatal yoga with elements of breathwork, mobility, and yoga philosophy — offering a full-spectrum journey of body, mind, and Self.
Noah first discovered yoga while recovering from a traumatic brain injury. It became his anchor — a place of clarity, inner quiet, and purpose. Today, that embodied wisdom and presence inform every session he leads, whether it’s a dynamic flow or a deeply restorative practice.
With a playful yet meditative style, Noah meets each student with compassion, encouragement, and care. His retreats invite you to reconnect with your body, rediscover your breath, and awaken to the joy of simply being.
Expect a blend of movement, stillness, mindfulness, and community — all guided by a teacher who truly walks the path he teaches.
