TRANSFORM
Costa Rica

Reclaim Your Breath. Reignite Your Fire.
Remember Who You Are

Aum & Away From Home invites you to our inaugural retreat in Costa Rica for a transformative week of powerful movement, deep meditation, and restorative breathwork at the Danyasa Yoga Retreat and Eco Lodge. The retreat space is tucked into the beach in Dominical, with access to the surrounding jungle and steps from the beach - attendees will stay in eco-chic digs, enjoy organic and locally sourced meals, and have access to the sun deck, swimming pool, lounge areas, and the beautiful surrounding nature.

Your hosts, Daron O'Donnell, Goku Son Cloud and Noah Yuzna, will guide you through yoga flows, deep stretch classes, and guided meditations to transform your existence.

Located at Danyasa Eco Sanctuary

Nestled between lush rainforest and the Pacific Ocean in the heart of Dominical, Costa Rica, Danyasa Eco Retreat offers a uniquely inspiring setting for deep transformation and rejuvenation. Purpose-built for yoga and conscious living, Danyasa combines eco-friendly design with modern comfort—featuring beautifully repurposed shipping container rooms, a world-renowned open-air bamboo yoga studio, and easy access to waterfalls, beaches, and jungle adventures.

With a strong commitment to sustainability, community, and the healing arts, Danyasa provides the ideal environment for inward reflection, embodied movement, and meaningful connection. Whether practicing in the jungle-fringed studio, lounging by the pool, or sharing organic meals, guests are fully supported in returning to their natural rhythm and reconnecting with what matters most.

Activities and Adventures

Here, the retreat experience is more than yoga—it’s an invitation to shed old layers, awaken new possibilities, and reconnect with your most authentic self. Each day offers a harmonious flow of healing, adventure, and connection, guiding you deeper into your own inner evolution.

Sacred cacao ceremonies open the heart, while deeply restorative sound healing sessions clear stagnant energy and invite profound emotional release. These powerful practices help you realign your mind, body, and spirit, creating space for transformation to take root.

For those called to move into nature’s rhythm, Danyasa’s prime location—just steps from the Pacific—makes it easy to step into adventure. Surfing lessons and stand-up paddleboarding meet you where you are, while guided excursions to hidden waterfalls and untouched beaches invite you to immerse in the wild beauty of Costa Rica’s rainforest and coastline.

To support renewal on every level, skilled local practitioners offer therapeutic treatments from massage to Reiki to craniosacral therapy, each one designed to restore balance and vitality. Between experiences, you’ll find sanctuary in the tranquil pool, open-air lounges, shared kitchen, and our renowned bamboo yoga studio—nestled in the jungle, holding space for deep practice and lasting transformation.

Nourishment at Danyasa

At Danyasa, food is an essential part of the transformation journey—nourishing not only the body, but also the spirit and senses. Each day, guests enjoy three vibrant, farm-to-table meals crafted by our in-house chef, using fresh, organic ingredients sourced from local, sustainable farms.

Our menus are intentionally designed to fuel an active yoga practice and support holistic well-being, helping you feel lighter, more energized, and more aligned from the inside out. The focus is on clean, plant-based nutrition, with thoughtful options for locally caught fish or free-range chicken, and always honoring vegan and gluten-free preferences. Every meal becomes an opportunity to integrate your retreat experience—inviting deeper connection to yourself, the land, and the nourishment that sustains your transformation.

Accommodations

At Danyasa, your space to rest is also a space to transform. Our eco-conscious rooms are designed to nurture body, mind, and spirit—crafted from upcycled shipping containers and embraced by lush tropical gardens, they reflect our commitment to sustainability, beauty, and mindful living.

Whether you choose a private sanctuary or a shared retreat space, each room is thoughtfully prepared to support deep rest and renewal. Comfortable beds, air conditioning, high-quality linens, and calming, intentional décor create an environment where you can truly unwind. Private rooms feature en-suite or semi-private bathrooms for added seclusion, while shared rooms foster community and connection—perfect for solo travelers and friends alike. Every detail is curated to help you feel held, restored, and ready for the inner transformation your retreat inspires.

A bamboo practice studio in the jungle

The Bamboo Yoga Studio at Danyasa is more than a place to practice—it’s a sanctuary for transformation. Open to the surrounding jungle and crafted entirely from sustainable bamboo, this sacred space invites you to move, breathe, and be still in harmony with nature.

Here, the rainforest’s rhythm becomes the rhythm of your practice. The warmth of the tropical air, the gentle rustle of leaves, and the soft murmur of the nearby river weave into each breath and posture, grounding you in the present moment. Whether you’re flowing through a strong vinyasa, surrendering in yin, or resting in meditation, the studio holds you in a container of safety and possibility—encouraging you to journey inward, release what no longer serves you, and reconnect with your true essence.

With a playful yet meditative style, Noah meets each student with compassion, encouragement, and care. His retreats invite you to reconnect with your body, rediscover your breath, and awaken to the joy of simply being.
